Demco's patented technology starts with the Wedge station, a pie-shaped ½" aluminum tooling plate with an on-board controls box that includes a controller, wiring, valve manifold, valves, and input blocks. Note the precision tooling of pinning and tapping giving a pre-engineered platform to design and build tooling on, and key holes designed to align with docking stations on the base Wedge chassis platforms.
Wedge stations are available untooled so that you can add your own tooling, or choose from one of our many pre-tooled models from inventory. You simply need to add your parts nests, feed tracks and gripper fingers, and your station will be ready for operation as a standalone unit or part of a larger assembly operation.

Blank Wedge Plate - Style A |
The Style A Blank Wedge Plate is the basic building block of the DEMCO WEDGE system. This plate gives users the capability to design and build their own WEDGE stations, and with the supplied SUPERWEDGE programming software, integration to a base chassis is a breeze. |

Blank Wedge Plate - Style B |

Pick and Place 100H X 50V Station |
The Pick and Place stations are the most common stations used in automation. This station is manufactured with high quality components giving it a long and reliable life. Station can be used for both loading and unloading. |

Lift and Rotate Station |
This lift and rotate station is designed to lift a part out of the nest vertically, rotate it up to 180 degrees, and place it back into the nest. |

Precision Label Apply Station |
This station utilizes a high accuracy label placement mechanism. Label placement accuracies up to .002 are obtainable with this system. Read more about Label Apply Station

UV Curing Station |
This curing station allows the mounting of UV fibers to cure components in either a spot or flood configuration. The fiber is lowered near the par tin a vertical move. A shroud is supplied to block direct UV light from the operator. All that is required is an anvil to hold your fibers. |

Infra-Red Heating Station |
The main component of this station is a quartz Infra-red or IR heater. This heater is operated by a power controller, which receives operation commands from the WEDGE control box. The distance of the heat source to the work piece is fully adjustable. Typical applications of this station are parts pre-heating and heat curing. |
