What Is The Assembly Line System?

The Assembly line system is another product in the DEMCO Automation line of flexible automation equipment. Its purpose is to allow the assembly of an entire pallet conveyor line utilizing standard off-the-shelf machinery and components.

All of the DEMCO base machines integrate with the conveyor system and each other. A revolutionary plug-in control system allows handshaking between the machines for traffic control and pallet tracking. This allows an instant total line control environment. All of the base machines are plugged into each other, thus establishing an entire emergency stop and control loop. This feature is built into the architecture of the base machines and requires no additional programming and or wiring.

How To Build An Assembly Line System

Select the correct mix of base chassis that you require from the list of DEMCO's base chassis. Typically, inline chassis are used for operations on the pallet, while the rotary dial chassis are typically used for operations to the work piece off of the pallet.
Select the WEDGE stations that are required to perform your specific assembly and or testing tasks.
Select missing conveyor pieces and corners to complete the line.
Mount the machines and conveyor. Then plug the machines into each other to establish total E-stop and control circuitry throughout the entire machine.
Design and manufacture a pallet nest for your part. DEMCO nest blanks fit right on the pallet.
Configure your base machines with the DEMCO BASE LINE configuration software.

SD-10-WL Semi Automatic 10 Station Rotary Dial Chassis	The SD-10-WL Chassis is designed to interface with an operator. The operator has access to the dial, and can perform loading, unloading, or complicated assembly tasks that are too difficult to automate. A light curtain is supplied to protect the operator.
