Demco Wedge™ is a revolutionary concept in automated assembly, testing, inspection and packaging equipment. It takes a building block approach to automation starting with tooled Wedge stations (such as pick and place, adhesive dispense, and UV cure) that are programmed with distributed controls architecture in place. The Wedge station works stand-alone on a tabletop by connecting power and air to the station, or automatically by being plugged into a base Wedge chassis. PLC programming and debug is a snap. Demco's proprietary Windows® based PLC programming utility allows you to simply check boxes for designated inputs and outputs to configure the Wedge station for your needs.
